The newly appointed manager, Tony Vitello, couldn't have asked for a more delightful introduction to his South Korean outfielder, Lee Jung-hoo, in Lee's very own hometown.

"It's been an absolute blast," Vitello exclaimed during a press conference following a day of cultural activities in Seoul. "The warmth and hospitality we've received here have been incredible. Having Lee as our guide and host has been a huge bonus."

Joining Vitello on this trip are Giants shortstop Willy Adames, club CEO Larry Baer, baseball operations chief Buster Posey, and general manager Zack Minasian. The group has a packed itinerary, including more cultural activities, a clinic for high school students, and a joint press conference to cap off their visit.
Adames, who joined the Giants before the 2025 season, is particularly excited about the trip. "I wanted to see Lee in his element, to understand his culture and see him among his people," Adames said. "It's incredible to witness the love and admiration people have for him here, and it's heartwarming to see that he remains the same person, no matter where he is."
Lee, who began his Giants career in 2024 after starting out in South Korea, is equally thrilled to be hosting his teammates and skipper. "I'm overjoyed to be here with them," Lee said.
